- Don't ruin your favourite garment by not reading the labels
- Do check pockets to ensure no tissue paper or receipt which can create a disaster
- Don't ignore the stains found on fabric. Treat stains first using good stain remover before washing.
- Do seperate the darks from the light. Wash whites. Wash darks. Wash reds.
- Do avoid hot water as high heat temperature is always bad for all types of fabrics.
- Don't add too much detergent as it damages clothes and harms the environment. Ensure that the detergent dissolves evenly before washing to avoid staining.
- Do dry washed laundry immediately to avoid unpleasant odours.
- Don't iron at high temperature. Set to cool. Steam irons work miracles on wrinkles and delicate fabrics.
